As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in implementing innovative technical solutions and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to enhance operational efficiency and security within our public sector client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to maximize efficiency and automate processes.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet our product’s reliability, speed, and functionality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations, infra connectivity between cross cloud / on-premise environments.
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of infrastructure.
  • Manage cloud-based resources and environments, optimizing for performance and cost.
  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve.
  • Implement security best practices and manage access control and security policies for cloud environments
  • Document and design various processes; update existing processes
  • Experience in WSO2 (plus)
  • English proficiency in written and spoken.

Note: The position may require international travel for periods of 3 to 6 months continuously, per year. Candidates will be required to accept this requirement as part of the positions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a proven track record of deploying and managing CI/CD workflows and tools.
  • Expertise in containerization technologies and platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in deployment of Kubernetes with Yaml or Helm Chart.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, Circle CI, GitLab CI/CD, or Github Actions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD practices.
  • The ability to set up and configure monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or ELK stack.
  • Have knowledge about networking concepts, including routing, firewalls, load balancing and basic knowledge of database administration and SQL.
  • At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability.
